Service hours can be submitted in several ways, the easiest being via the Sagamore Council website – click on “Submit Service Hours” button on the home page.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Leaders – Have you submitted your Blue and Gold or Court of Honor dates yet? These are the best opportunities to have your unit’s Family Friends of Scouting presentation, as we know that it is when the most of your parents will be present. Family Friends of Scouting is a critical part of our council support initiative and is a\u00a0key element in your unit earning free camping, rank advancement, and more!\u00a0 Making a contribution \u00a0to Scouting ensures the success of the program and helps sustain Scouting for the future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Do you know of an experienced Scouter who has grown past the point of attending week to week meetings, but still loves the program? Maybe their kid has moved on to college, and working the unit level doesn’t make sense for them anymore? If you know someone who understands the program and is a great advisor, they might make a great Unit Commissioner! A Unit Commissioner serves as a link between the district and the units and helps maintain the health of our units! Wabash Valley District is currently interested in seeing who YOU think might fit this type of role. The district requires a crew of about 20 dedicated individuals serving our units, and we have a select number of openings.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The District Committee meetings are at Cary Camp.
